The creamware pulsar sonic rocket booster (SRB) facilitates the input and output of audio signals to and from a computer under control of computer programs. It features a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), which converts recorded or generated digital data into an analog format. It uses a TRS connector to interconnect with an external device. It includes sound chips to provide higher data rates. The line- in connector digitizes the signals and stores it in a computer hard disk. It has multiple FM synthesis voices. Connectors on the sound card are color coded as per the PC System Design Guide. The external rack-mountable units Firewire, and an optical interface offers sufficient data rates. The 130 nm soundcard operates at 400 MHz and has 51 million transistors. It is designed to fill a lower cost segment and allows connection to an external decoder.
